Welcome to the home of Franklin, Tennessee’s York Rite Bodies!

What We Are

   The Franklin York Rite Bodies consists of the three Masonic Appendent groups; Chapter #2 of Royal Arch Masons, Council #134 of Royal and Select Masters (Sometimes referred to as Cryptic Masons), and DePayens Commandery #11 of Knights Templar. We are based at Hiram Lodge #7 Free and Accepted Masons in Franklin, TN. ‘Appendent’ means that while someone is required to be a member of a Blue Lodge to join, each group is managed by it’s own central authority and has no authority over any of the other groups. Members continue in their Masonic education by proceeding through the degrees of Chapter, then Council, and finally Commandery.
